Helen McLean Library
The McLean library contains one of the
largest collections of
psychoanalytic literature in the world. It has occupied a central
position in the educational programs of the Institute For
Psychoanalysis
since 1932. Its holdings include over 10,000 volumes and 35 current
journal subscriptions. Subscriptions are supplemented by
article/monograph files, the Psychoanalytic Electronic Publishing (PEP)
CD, and online access to several journal databases through the Internet.

- W.R. Bion
- Sigmund Freud
- Melanie Klein
- Heinz Kohut
- Jacques Lacan
- D.W. Winnicott

The use of the library by individuals
outside the Institute for
Psychoanalysis is at the discretion of the librarian.
